Power inverter
I put this in the modifications section but have not gotten any replies.
Looking to hard wire in a power inverter and flush mount the AC outlet/USB ports in an interior panel.
anybody have any ideas or source for a modular unit?
of course I could buy a stand alone unit, breakdown, then modify, but there has to be a kit out there somewhere.
thanks

It was really hard for me to find a sub 1000w inverter that allowed remotely mounted AC ports. What I did was get the Xantrex Prowatt 600W pure sine inverter, the remote switch, and the relay module. The relay module let me do remotely mounted AC plugs, plus gave me the ability to power those ports from shore power automatically if it was available.
I don't have good photos of this but here it is. Inverter is under the passenger seat and provides 1 port + usb. The other port is an extension cord to the back, that is wired up to the remote ports and relay module.
