Power lacking until 30 mph

Hello all

I have managed to get my head gaskets, power steering pump, and master cylinder all replaced. Then I had the issue of a hesitating acceleration that was due to the 2nd fuse being blown. Now that I have all this resolved I'm noticing that my engine is not accelerating up to 30 mph as quick as it used to like a loss of power. However as soon as it hits 30 it gets up and goes. Really good power after that. I'm changing the plugs and wires this week so we will see if that helps but does anyone think it could be anything else?

Thanks for the help!

Do you have the CEL on, any OBD II codes. Does it idle well and start well.

If no codes and no idle issues or start issues than it is a perception.

If you had a misfire or a MAF or TPS or low fuel pressure, they will show up in codes.

I have codes but don't have them on hand. I know that one of them was maf though and people on here thought plugs and wires. However I just went out and looked at the fuse box and saw that I am completely missing the R6 fuse. In the manual it says owners shouldn't replace this fuse but I am completely missing it. Any idea what that could be doing?

I dont know what that fuse is for but there are lots of blank fuses in these trucks as they were sold on every inch of this planet and different places had different specs and features.

Okay the fuse just has an engine with the lightning electric thing going through it. But sense I have an maf code could that be contributing to the power loss? Also what is the tool to get the maf electrical harness off? It is like a star head but with a small pin in the middle.

R6 would be relay 6, the glow plugs, in an ideal world you would plug that in and it would switch to a diesel..Not! Would not bother unbolting the MAF sensor, but you may want to use some cleaner for the throttle body and the MAF, it should be something made for the purpose, like CRC. And do it when engine is stone cold.

The harness for the MAF just unplugs, no screws.
It comes out as one unit.
Make sure you use ONLY MAF CLEANER AND NOTHING ELSE!

Yeah I just bought CRC maf cleaner as well as coolant and power steering fluid to bleed both systems but that's another thing. Also pretty excited that I finally ordered my wires and plugs and went with kingsbourne 8 mm wires and Bosch +4 (4418) plugs for cheap on amazon. Any experience with these 2?
