power steering pump leak

I think the leak is coming from the out put shaft seal on the steering box. Has anyone ever changed this seal with out removing the power steering box? From underneath it looks possible, has anyone tried?

Any one?

Any one fix their power steering leaks? Maybe mine is coming from some where else?

Yes, lots of people have fixed them.
If it is the front seal it can be replaced.
I do not know if you can do it in the truck or not.

Is there a more common place for it to leak? I need to clean everything up to better pinpoint the leak.

The most common power steering leaks are from, well, everywhere.
The pump is a common leak, as is the hose connections, the steering box too.
The only thing that does not leak is the power steering reservoir, and thats because it doesnt have fluid in it.
Seriously though, become a power steering fluid distributor so you can buy it at cost.

Clean it all up and then try to find the exact leak.
