Problems discovery 2 automat

Hello. I have a problem with my Discovery-2 As I was driving and suddenly stopped as if the lever went to the parking lot. Some ideas of what may have happened.

You’ll have to explain that in way more detail. You were driving and the vehicle suddenly stopped, as if the drive train seized up?

Yes, something like that happened. I removed the rear cardan shaft, but it still doesn't work. I also removed the front cardan shaft and then we pulled it home. Did something happen in the gears or in the transfer box. I have no explanation.
It turned out as if during the movement the lever went to the parking position and the jeep crashed. I turned off the bike and after 5 minutes started it I tried back and forth, but it only moves about 5-6 inches. So far I have not had any problems with the transmission. We do not have Discovery services here, so I ask you for advice on what to do. Thanks in advance.

assuming you are actually talking about a Land Rover Discovery 2 and not a jeep or bike, i'd check the fluid in the transfer case first.

if empty or really low, refill and try to drive it. though, it may have broken some internal gears if you ran dry on fluid.

Thanks. Tomorrow we will check and write.

Do you mean that while the vehicle was moving you put the transmission shift lever into the park position? If so, the problem will likely be inside your transmission.

I am laughing so hard at this.

Hello. Today he found out that the transfer box was broken. Where can I find a second use one.

what is broken specifically?

your best bet is to source a used transfer case local to you. junkyard or a Land Rover specific breaker.

Hello Will it be from a manual transmission or should I only search from an automatic.
