Propshaft gaitor??

I was perusing the Rovahfarm website, when I came across this RovahFarm for all your new Land Rover Parts and Accessories It says its a propshaft gaitor for a DII, but my DII doesn't have one, and I'm not sure where it would even fit on the front or rear propshaft. My old DI had one on the front shaft, but is this something that is supposed to be on my truck, and what exactly does it do and where does it fit?

Was is this gator supposed to be?

I will assume it is used to cover the slip joint on thhe drive shaft to keep dirt and debree out of the seal.

So, that is what they are calling it, good to have to keep water and dirts from getting into the splines and binding them up.

My front shaft has one, but it might not last much longer if I don't do something about my front cross member after my lift install.

I have a 10 year old 3" lift and haven't had any issues with my cross member rubbing. If you are, consider making 2 spacers and weld them to your current bar to raise it accordingly.

It rubs when sitting on the two post lift at the shop. I'm not sure if it rubs during "normal" use, but I'm not going to take chances. I've got +3 shocks too.

So, are you planning on making changes, if so what?

I'm probably going to make some spacers, like this:

Cross Member Spacers - Discovery Series II (03-04) - Rovertym Inc.

Only out of steel, because it's cheaper.

I am running them now. My driveshaft still gets might close when it is on the lift for work.
