Question...Toddco Suspensions, Inc. Suspension Lift Kits

Has anyone used this brand and would you recommend for a 2002? Toddco Suspensions, Inc. Land Rover Discovery Series II 1999.5-2004 Suspension Lift Kits. Looking at the Land Rover Discovery Series II 2.5" lift to put larger tires on...?

I didn't see any lift that suggests a 2.5" increase. I see a 2" kit.

Differences between Coil Spring Lift Kits and Coil Spacer Lift Kits

I understand the unique differences between the two. But...I guess my questions is, what are the pros and cons of the coil spring spacer kits?

I'm thing about adding the spacers. Will this have a negative impact on my current spring rate?

True or False: The spacer kits are generally used for aesthetics only?

I have known folks to use the spacers to offset a slight sag from left to right as the springs wear overtime. i.e. primarily a driver only the left might sag more than the passanger side.. other than that I do not know why one would use a spacer.

i wouldn't mind an inexpensive 2" lift providing I don't have to change brake lines, shocks, etc. I'm running 265/70 16" Nokian Hakkapeliitta R and a little lift might be just what I need. :)

Land Rover Discovery Series II 2.5" lift
This is the kit for those who have mounted a heavy winch bumper and recovery gear that still want to get a full 2" lift. In this kit you will get 2.5" CNC machined aluminum coil spring spacers, that can be used on a Land Discovery Series II 1999 through 2004 non air ride rear. This will provide 2.5" of extra lift for bigger tires or more ground clearance, while still using the stock springs / shocks, or with after-market lift springs / shocks. This kit has the front shock relocation mounts. Also included, all grade 8 hardware / instructions. This is a precisely machined direct bolt in kit.

I want the tallest tire which I think would be 265/75/16...?

I would suggest going with either old man emu 2" or the terra firma 2".. lift kits.. you can pick and choose the front and rear springs for appropriate weight needs..i.e. winch bumper in front but no significant constant weight in rear...

I have a great idea!! Let me demo the spacers for a few weeks. I'll give my review at the end, in a few weeks.

I'm on Rovers number 5 and 6 now. I've always done an OME kit or something like that. For my #6 disco I didn't want to do a lot so I ordered the Toddco spring spacers. I liked them, they're fairly easy to install, and they are cheap. One thing about Toddco though is they rarely answer the phone or return calls so you have to keep trying. I eventually just bought them off ebay since toddco has been selling on ebay lately. Of course I can't leave anything alone so I did end up ordering a ome 2" kit also. But to answer your question, I trust Toddco. I've used their sway bar drop downs also. If you can ever get them on the phone you can tell they know their rovers, they also drive them.
