Really dumb tire question
I'm looking at new AT tires and they come with bold white lettering on one side. So do I fit them with the white lettering to the outside or inside? I'm not so sure about them big white letters on the outside. See I said it was a really dumb question :o

As long as they are not directional treads usually you can put them on which ever side you want. It gives you the option of how you want your tires to look, at least that's how it used to be in my experience.

I understand directional treads, the question is more about aesthetics.
My concern is that the white lettering outside might look cheap or flashy. Let me rephrase the question this way: if you had AT's fitted with white lettering, what did you do? |
I dont care for the white lettering on any kind of A/T or M/T tire just doesnt look right to me. Just my 2 cents.

white on the inside for sure bundu. its kinda like loud clothes being popular in the 80's. hehehe

Oh, I guess you really weren't kidding. In that case white lettering doesn't really look right with a Land Rover. It's too 80's Bronco for me these days. Still it wouldn't look aweful with the lettering. |
