rear brake pad change

rear brake pad change
Calling on everyone's expertise once again. I know I'm not the brightest crayon in the box but I'm at least mechanical enough to change my rear brake pads...I think, well at least with the help of the rave manual and all of you. The last time I changed my front pads the calipers were frozen and I spent a little more than I wanted and now its time to do the back.
Can anyone walk me through this process having done it them selves, and what are the best to use, oem, advanced, a.b. ?
Thanks all

Take what learned from working on the fronts and apply it to the rears. It is very easy if you have the confidence and a little know how. I would suggest a google search. Look for how to's w/ pictures. Videos are also good. There is no tricks really.
Two 12mm bolts for each caliper, remove caliper, remove pads, carefully and slowly reset piston using the proper tool or use the c-clamp and old pad process. Either way go slow. You'll do fine. We're here if you need us. You got this!
I like Akebono pads.

While depressing the brake cylinder in the caliper with a c-clamp, open up the bleed screw. This really helps when pushing it back in. Makes sort of a mess though. I do this to all my cars now though... Mainly because of the advanced ABS systems they have. I've heard and read its not good for them to have fluid sent back up the line.
