Default rear door problem

ok on my 99 d2 i got the back door is like stuck shut they pulled the panel off like they tried to fix it but nothing... Does anyone know how to get it open.. looks like its a electric switch that pops it open unlike the old school with a rod.. any ideas would be great thanks.

Have you tried holding the unlock tab up while opening from the outside? Child lock may prevent this on the inside, and a poor lock mechanism may prevent this from the outside without holding up on the lock.

yeah i riged where the lock would stay up and went outside to open it and nothing everything moves just like its not un latching i sprayed the handle with wd40 i even tried to to pry on it with a screw driver and nothing so i dont know what else to do...

damn door still wont open lol anymore ideas lol..
