Rear Passenger Window Issue
My daughter pushed the switch and the window stuck about 3 inches down. I tried my switch up front and finally got it up. Now the window will not go up or down. The switch in the back door was kind of gritty and difficult to push. I got a new one from the dealer I'm going to put in this afternoon. Anything else I should try and look at? Are there individual fuses for each window? All the others work fine.
Thanks, John |
RE: Rear Passenger Window Issue
After you install the new switch, if you still have problems them check the other rear window, see if it is acting up, if it is also, you may need to clean or replace a printed circuit board that is located under the console.
If the one window still has a problem, use a test probe and verify power, if that is good, you may have a bad motor or window regulator. Mike |
RE: Rear Passenger Window Issue
It was the switch. Window works fine now.
While I was working I took the ten minutes to install the heated seat panel and switches and now have toasty buns............. :) I would've never known about that without this forum!! Thanks, John |
