Rear roof side glass exploded

Well the rear roof side glass exploded, is this something I can replace? I received a quote for 400 but 3 day wait.

I found a d2 with a window for 75, but how do I mount it?

Looks like Rovers North stocks them:

I guess the question is if it's worth the shipping and labor to put it in yourself, or have someone else do it.

It may have been caused by the body stress from the roof rack. I've found that the LR's usually crack their front windshields fairly early on due to settlement stresses in the body shell but the second windshield lasts a lot longer unless you take a hit from a stone on the highway. Alpine windows were regular victims for breakage on the D1 and earlier Discos for some reason which I can only attribute to body shell stresses or mechanical damage.

Hmmm, what does each of those jerry cans weigh when full? about 20-25kgs+. I can see the other Alpine window going pop at the first bump you hit also with that kind of point load in front and behind it. IMO I would reduce that load by 50% locally to the Alpine windows.
