i like it... my headliner is obviously scared of heights also... but there are more pressing issues than aesthetics... for me... but urs looks great...

Wow, a DI with a custom 2 tone interior. Looks damn good! Can't wait to see it finished.

Wow, your carpet looks about like mine did when I got it. Just throw in a few dozen needles, and it would be the same truck. It cleaned up ok, but there are so many burns and worn patches, I am going to replace it. Probably with black, when I do. I'll get you some pics if I can ever get off my butt and do it....
Looking great. I really like the seats. 2 tone was a nice touch. I would do it too, but I have cloth =(

Wow, I am definately impressed........
How much did the materials cost you all together?
How many hours did you spend working on that?

Time wise, that I couldn'ttell you. Sometimes I'll spend a couple hours a day on the truck, sometimes I'll spend the entire day. The problem with me is that I'm too **** and thorough. What ever project I'm doing (household, landscape, automotive, work related, etc) I usually go above what's normal. Which cost me time. A co-worker and I was talking the other day and he jokingly said no one could afford to pay me for the time I've put into this truck.
It's like bringing a vehicle to Chip Foose, Troy Trepanier, BoydCoddington (rest in piece) or any other custom builders out there. When you give themyour vehicle, you don't ask when will it be ready. They calland tell you it's ready. But rest assure when you do get it back, you will have a clean custom vehicle due to all the detail work and time that was put into it.

A quick update. Since I had black spray paint, why not paint a few areas to make it look different than the average Disco. Front seat pedestals, instrument cluster and drivers side floor mat.
Seat pedestals

Instrument cluster

Driver's floor mat

The plan is t dosimilar design to the rear floor mat. As you can see from some of the pics it started to rain. I'll do it another day.

I'm accpeting donations in the form of a cover for the driver's pedestal, the trim piece that covers the corner of the driver's seat and the black carpet screws that secure thefloor mat from moving.I'll post your user name in bold letters and mention my truck couldn't have been completed withou you. Color doesn't matter.
