Reoccurring P0444 code
 
I have a reoccurring P0444 code. I replaced the purge valve twice and it doesn’t seem to be the problem.

how do I solve this?

P0444 says purge valve open circuit. This looks like a wiring issue. On side of the harness is connected to 12V with ignition, the other side is pulsed by the ECU. It could be tested with a very low wattage light bulb into the connector, if the purge valve gets driven by the ECU.

If your D2 is equipped with SAI make sure the SAI vacuum solenoid and the purge control wiring isn't flip flopped. I've seen that happen several times.

Yeah, did this on our first 03 when l dropped the motor in. Believe one plug is gray and the other is black, switched them around, no code.
