Replacing Stub Axle - what other parts needed?

Hello,

So, I'm in the process of replacing my left rear stub axle ('97 Disco), due to damage cause by a busted wheel bearing (which of course I'm also replacing).

My question is: Are there any parts - like seals, etc. - that should be replaced with the stub axle? And do you have source / part number(s)?

From what I can gather, there may be an oil seal that needs to be replaced. Also, when I searched for 'stub' on Atlantic British, there is a 'bearing stub axle swivel pin housing' - do I need this?

Thanks for any help!

Mike

Hope you haven't orderd your axle yet, check out http://www.roverlandparts.com/rearaxleshafts_1.aspx $50 for a used axle.

Yep, that's where I ordered the stub from! Too bad I won't get it until Monday, though :-(

I've been ordering other parts (bearings, etc.) from Atlantic British...

Thanks,

Mike
