Default Rust remover

Found the problem to erratic front turn signal . Rusted bulb socket . Easy fix , right ? Well upon pulling the socket from harness connector , one pin broke off inside female connector . Does anyone have a simple fix to remove rusted pin ?? :Needle ?? Tweezers ??

I tried that. I think I will soak the connector in vinegar or CLR . Hope those ideas work. Just need the rust to dissolve.

Locksmiths have specialized tools to remove broken off key shanks from locks and ignition switches. Similar?

you can get smaller quantities and it can be reused many times. It really works well.

White vinegar works pretty well, takes a bit longer than evap-o-rust though.

Problem solved . Soaked harness socket in vinegar inside a baggie for two nights . rusted pin just melted away . New bulb socket fit right in . Turn signal works without a hitch
