SAI pump relay- Which one is it???

From the RAVE...

"With a warm engine which is switched off and the SAI pump relay removed, the SAI pump can be supplied with power
by bridging terminals 87 and 30 at the relay socket."

RAVE talks of R9 (main relay) in the engine fuse box but that relay has different terminal numbers.

Codes P1412 and P1415
Checked all vacuum connections- all are snug. I want to make sure the pump is working correctly.

Are you sure that you have SAI? I have never seen a Disco before 2002 that had that option. I'm not saying it is impossible, but it would be unusual.

Pump on the firewall by the inertia switch, 2 metal control valves either side of engine, vacuum reservoir...it's all there. Per the rave (pg239-240) the SAI pump relay is R6 engine fuse box. The terminals on that relay are 1,2,3,5. NOT the 87,30 etc. So I would jump terminals 3 and 5 on relay 6 correct???

Lots of 2000-2002 have it, especially if they came from Kalifornia.

It's the glow plug relay. I "borrowed" it on my 2003, thinking I don't have glow plugs, and my SAI stopped running and I started getting codes.

Yup, that's why I glanced over it at first. But I need to jump that relay slot to see if the pump turns on. Terminals 3 and 5. Just need someone to verify.

do you recall which of the relay #6 connector blades that you jumpered to test your SAI Pump? My relay #6 has them numbered 1, 2, 3 and 5 also. Appreciate your feedback.
