is it the main ECU that controls the amount of time that it fires up the SAI pump? and if that is not doing what it should...that means my ECU is somehow fubar?
I mean, there is always a chance that mine are going for too long . Maybe your cats heat up faster... I'd check in rave if there is any description of this should operate.
I took the "new" SAI pump off I bought (ebay) and put the old one back on. I tested that it works using the battery. Fired the truck up and the pump ran for around
90 seconds. no SES light...yet anyway.
