LR03NJ, have you looked at all of the fuses in the box under the hood? What happened the last time this happened? Did it just decide to come back to life? You probably have a bad ground somewhere. Battery terminals are good? Alternator connections? |

Ralph, doesn't he need power to try that sequence? I don't think his alarm light is even flashing. Sounds like no power at all, can't even shift to neutral to get the a tow.

Anyway, the truck started upon arriving home and still dont know whats wrong. He tried to jump it first. I was reading about the CPS when bad and gets hot, but can the electrical and the power be affected by the CPS? There was no power at all when you turn the key. Well, now I have time to research more about what is causing my truck not to start. Thanks again for the help. It was amazing! |
The post in question is the horizontal tip end in the picture? and it needs to be pushed in to allow the shifter to shift to neutral? Am I correct? I will have to add this to my smartphone notes.

CKP sensor won't cause the power failure. You will be looking at battery terminals, the places where the black battery cable ties to metal chassis and frame of truck, and the bolt in fuses in the underhood box.
