Suspension - SLS
Ok friends I haven't needed much help yet as my 2002 Discvery has been kind! Now it has got me a little confused!
sometimes she will lose something and the rear will droop down and sometimes it will be fine. It has always recovered after driving for a short period of time> My question is how is it that sometimes it doesn't droop, sometimes only one side seems to droop and sometimes both sides droop! I would like to keep as stock as possible but as its only off roading will be sand and very light trails in Louisiana I'm not opposed to switching to rear springs if it is the most reliable fix. Is this a malfunctioning sensor? Or a complete malfunction about to happen? Unfortunately I love the Truck and am determined to fix just don't want to fix the wrong item! Any ideas, is this common? I already have replacement springs and torrents for the front end to be installed. |
Leak maybe?
|
only sometimes?
|
He probably means an air leak in one of the air bags or lines from the compressor to the air springs. Not the driveway kind of leak...
|
Would not a leak, leak all the time?
This morning she is sitting perfect no droop! |
Arnott airbags are pretty cheap and easy to replace. If you still have the originals, it might be time to change them.

Again would not a leak always be a leak? don't want to replace the wrong item as it will not solve my problem.
today she has sat properly all day. guess Ill have two find the layout for the system. |
