TC and ABS light

1 Attachment(s)
Hey all I could use some help from someone who knows Discos! I have 3 dash lights that come on at random times but throw no codes.

The TC, ABS, and steep decline light all come on together right after a couple dings sound, like I had pushed the steep decent button.

Again it throws no codes. This may not matter but I recently had my power steering pump replaced.

Thoughts?

Thank you very much in advance...

Well the "steep incline" light usually refers to a bad flux capacitor.

But for real, those are the 3 amigos. You need a special scanner to read ABS codes. ABS amigo, hawkeye, nanocom, something like that. Do you have a LR dealer nearby?

Not one that's super close. About 45 mins away..

Go to the for sale forum on this website, someone on there rents an ABS amigo that will read the codes for you.

There is currently one for sale in our classified section, might want to grab it.

I had this ONE time since I've owned my Disco. It happened after the truck sat a few days after a rain. The discs were a tiny bit rusty, you know, just enough to cause it to squeal when braking lightly. I pulled to a stop, and it squealed loud, then the lights came on. The discs wore smooth right away, rust gone, and I've never seen the lights since.

Maybe you have bad discs/pads, or does it squeal/chatter when it happens? Just another thought...
