Terrafirma Front Dislocation cones - anyone running them?

My springs keep smashing the stock rubber isolators and getting dislodged - not fully dislodged, just like a lip of the rubber gets caught under the spring causing the spring to look off-balance. Terrafirma part TF501 look to be the ticket - is anyone using these?

And if so, do you keep the rubber isolators as well? Because the isolators provide the studs to secure the shock tower. TF502 looks like the complimentary product, but its not listed as compatible with the D2?

My setup at the moment is TF HD springs, TF 3" all terrain shocks. I have the coil retaining plates.

Yeah I run them, definitely necessary when you have the travel

So you run the cones w/ the OEM rubber guys? I contacted terrafirma - they said tf501 works w/ D2, but TF502 does not. It sure as heck looks like TF502 will work, and allow me to delete those flimsy rubber cones. I've also found threads that say people w/ D1's use the rubber guys. Or maybe I should get genuine rubbers and use those w/ the cones?

Yeah of course TF502 works, that's crazy they told you that! I don't use the rubber, no.

Perfect, thanks!

Yep, two different people from Terrafirma both said no go on TF502. The replies came from Frogs Island 4x4 Parts Manager.

I've done it personally, direct fit

Will the rear spring isolators fit on these metal cones? They won't fit the factory style rubber cones and It would be nice to have uniform components front and rear.

Hmm maybe. Have to wonder though, how much do those isolators really improve things?

Not sure how much they reduce noise or vibration, but they are super handy for leveling a crooked ride height.

I'll order them and let you know if they work. It looks like it would
