Terrafirma HD Radius Arms

3 degree castor correcting arms. Finally, got them installed. No problems removing the originals; all the bolts came out without a fight. Thank You Rover Gods :D I did the swap in the back yard (no lift available) with the assistance of a couple jack stands, a floor jack, and a 2 gallon jug of water (it peaked at 97 degrees today, here in Philly).

The whole process took approximately three hours (that's counting the time to gather tools, setting the jack stands, removing/installing radius arms and water breaks). I was so ready to cut off bolts, heard horror stories of some members using a 4" cutoff wheel to remove frozen bolts.

Very pleased with the end result. I noticed an improved difference in the trucks drive-ability especially, on the highway. It tracks nice and straight, the steering wheel returns to center after completing a turn, and no more front end hop on the highway after running over potholes. It drives the way it did pre-lift. Actually, better.

Thumbs Up to Justin for doing me a solid by pressing-in the Poly's. Thanks, man!

Anyway here's the Bling Bling...

Why the different color bushings? Firmness? I've got to get a set of these, but with the increased size it appears it would hit the track rod within a few inches of articulation on the front.

I think those look great! I've considered getting those eventually, especially if I step up up the size of the lift down the road. Doesn't RTE Welding and Fab make some similar?

Not sure why different colors.

Pretty sure the track rod flexes w/ the articulating radius arm so, no interference. At least that's what I saw when i had each side up in the air w/ the jack yesterday.

While I haven't personally seen the RTE ones, it appears from their description they just crank the stock ones that you send them as a core.

"Front Radius Arms offset to match your Discovery II suspension lift. We can offset our in-house arm set and ship for minimum downtime of your truck. "

Haha yeah.... not sure why I made that comment, looking back I'm not sure why I didn't think of it. Track rod goes to the wheels, wheels go up and down...mystery solved.

It's early on a Sunday morning. Your head is probably still foggy from off-road adventure dreams. I'll let you slide...

Too much fishing at 4 this morning... and jealousy on the new arms.

Those look really cool. So how much money shipped with the bushings? How how is your lift?

Total shipped w/ pressed in Poly's (they do not come pressed-in - pay extra) cost approximately $675.

I am on a TF 2" medium duty.

I'm not sure it's worth paying extra to "press" in the poly bushings, at least based on the lucky8 video. ;)
