elevate the front of the truck 6 or so inches if possible, release the cooling resevior and elevate that also. remove the bleed screw, turn on the heater and slowly fill the resevoir to the top until coolant start to come out of the bleeder screw. You should check it in a few days you may have do go threw the process again. if this does not work get back

It is amazing how many D2 owners don't have a clue on how to bleed the coolant system.
First you only bleed the system with the engine being stone cold and not running, open the bleed screw and fill the coolant bottle til you get a steady stream of coolant, the replace the bleed screw, replace the cap, start the engine, turn on both heaters and let it run for a bit at idle. When at operating temp, with the engine at idle, you should have some heat coming from the heater, if not you repeat the process again.
The next 2 mornings, you fill the coolant bottle to the lid, not the line, if it then doesn't continue to drop you are OK, if it drops, then it is time for a pressure test and possible chemical block test to rule out a head gasket.
