Default Three amigos back after replacing front coil spring.

So, I started a thread a few months ago about this.

Situation: On cold, rainy days I'd sometimes get flashing M+S lamps when I shifted gears. It always cleared the next start up. This graduated to 3 amigos, but would still clear.

I could feel the feedback through the brake pedal whenever I slammed the brakes, so I breathed a little easier and suspected a wheel speed sensor. A mechanic disconnected, cleaned and reattached the driver's side front and all was well for a few months.

Fast forward to today.

I recently noticed a sag to my Rover and the local mechanic found the driver's side front spring had collapsed. I had it replaced and picked it up a few minutes ago.

Anyway, as soon as I shifted gears to back it out of the lot the amigos came back.

I've tried shutting off and restarting several times but, unlike before, they aren't clearing for more than a gear change. The second I shift out of park they light up.

Weather again today, btw, is cold and rainy.

The ABS unit still modulates so, again, no worries there (fingers crossed).

I'm curious, though, if maybe that bad coil has been the source of my problems all along and, the "repair" or bad mechanicking is causing me more grief.

It's a random though, but what if the added pressure or force to that corner of the vehicle is/was putting some sort of strain that is affecting the wheel speed sensor.

Any takers?

Better yet....what the @@!!# should I fix?

The coil replacement can't trigger the 3 Amigos. Are your brakes squeaking?

I think your flux capacitor is getting weak and needs a rebuild.

I dont think the spring is related to the ABS issue.

I bet it's the kanuter valve leaking.

The springs are not related to the 3 amigos. It's something in the brake system but I am blanking on what it is right now. The modulator shouldn't be activating unless you're on a slick surface that will allow the brakes to lock up. If it's activating on dry roads there's your problem.
