Sorry to thread jack. Did you go with the 3" OME lift from Justin at Lucky 8? I would love to see some before and after pics as I am trying to decide between the 2" OME and the 3" OME lifts.

Back to the question at hand...

I've got the 3" terrafirma from lucky 8, and I've got 255/85R16, which are 33". They don't rub on anything, but I've got an aftermarket front bumper. It's possible they might rub if I were to stuff them into the wheel well off road, but they haven't yet. I do plan on getting extended bump stops just in case...

I just installed 265/75/R16 on mine with a 2" lift

I had to flip the tire carrier which involves drilling 2 holes but its pretty easy

It will be worse on fuel mileage, more rotational mass. I have 265/75 r16s on a 2" lift, will be going 285/55R16 in the spring(33").

33's and over you will need to re-gear. Our weak axles/joints will not be able to stand up to much abuse w/ tires larger than 33's. As far as whats the largest tire you can stuff under a 3" lift? I'll let the guys w/ the 3" lifts answer this one. I only have a 2"er.
