Tranmission flush with extractor?

I have always used this
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d.html/r...8?a=B002YJ9VTG

To do trans oil changes on cars, I know it's not a proper flush, but it is quick and clean.

Can I use this on the d2, rather than getting under and draining it(too cold here and have no garage).

When was the last time you checked the trans fluid level in your DII?

Never, am about to purchase one next week and want to do all major service.

Is it different than checking on traditional cars?

Yes. There is no dipstick. There is only a drain plug and a fill plug. Both have to be accessed from under the vehicle.

Time to get cold, wet, and uncomfortable! ;)

Also download a copy of the RAVE manual. You're gonna need it :)
