Default What is the best source for touch up paint

The local Dealer doesnt have the Epson Green touch up I need for my 2001 D2. Its $14 if I order it (Plus $25 in gasoline to go pick it up........so, about $35-40 for the paint)

I Checked Atlantic British,....they sell an aftermarket Paint pen I have no experience with.

Given the $40 total, wondering if I should mail order it, or buy one of the more expensive touch up kits like Dr. Colorchip, Colorite, or the Langka credit card buffer solution I have read about.....it is used with factory touch up paints.

Looking for the best touch up solution for scratches and chips etc at a reasonable price. My disco is Epson Green if that has an impact on how well the particular touch up paint or system works.

Suggestions?

I think you'll be stuck paying dealer or AB prices, unless you can find a "close enough" shade at an auto parts store.

I would try paintscratch.com, you can get whatever you need there. I'm not a big fan of paint pens, I've had better luck with a spray can for large areas and a very fine brush and lots of wet sanding and polishing compound for scratches.

I have the Epson Green pen from AB. Ordered it when I was ordering the radio removal tool and wheel caps. It's ok but not great. You have to apply like 3-4 coats with it to cover up a ding. Which up close you can still notice due to the paint. lol

Better than nothing though I guess...
