Trunk Storage For DII? PLZ REPLY

Sh*t keeps floppin' around back there!
What's the best way to secure bags, toolboxes, etc. that stay in the trunk? Is there a good bungee cargo net to buy?
I tried to rig up a bungee system back there but I need something a bit less bootleg. What do you use to secure items in the trunk?

installed more tie down points in mine. http://www.easternmarine.com/media/c...ory/588_st.jpg

rachet or buckle straps work better than bungee

x2.. bungee are never a good idea in my opinion for internal storage. I want to lock it down. on more than one axis. Should something go awry and a bungee snaps you now have a projectile inside the truck.

get a piece of 3/4 plywood, cut it to fit your truck... install said latches all over and get some good straps (not bungy).
Hi-Lift makes these too. http://www.hi-lift.com/slide-n-lock/index.html

I did it like this. Built drawers with 3 Cargo Tie Down Tracks on the top. Move the rings where ever you need them and strap stuff down. Keep all my tools and spares in the drawers.

The one above is ideal, but takes some building skills. What about bolting a box to the floor? Use YOUR idea of the perfect box, plastic or metal and just bolt down. Heavy Duty Tool Box | Sears.com | Heavy Duty Tool Chest, Heavy Duty Tool Case

The tie down eyes that Dusty shows plus small ratchet straps is the most likely way to go. Bungee straps aren't good for heavy loads that shift around. 1.0 to 1 1/2" ratchet straps are probably all you need as larger ones, say 2"+, can break the D2 in half they are so powerful. There are already some tie down eyes under the carpet in the load trunk in the rear of a D2.
