Vibrating

Just started hearing a vibrating noise and it sounds like it's coming from under the hood. I only hear it when I'm sitting still. It sounds like metal on metal. It's not running hot but I was told I have a leak coming from my cylinder head gasket. I have the sloshing/gurgling sound. In the process of taking it to have a coolant pressure test done. Had the power steering pump replaced two weeks ago. Was wondering if the vibrating could be related to the head gasket???

RE: Vibrating

I remember your post, did you happen to contact DiscoMike? He can really help you out by letting you know the conditions currently affecting your truck. I would suggest you not drive it at all, because if you are getting that gurgling sound thereare air pockets in your coolant system, and that will surely damage the head gaskets if they are not damaged yet.

Thanks for the reply. I did talk to Disco Mike. He was extremely helpful. I'm waiting to hear back from the guy that installed my power steering pump to find out if he can do the coolant pressure test. I checked the fluid last night and it's low, added more. Will keep you posted.
