WABCO ABS noise
After I turn my Rover off this little guy is still humming along for hours
Is that normal? |
I don't think so. I've never heard mine do that.

mine just makes a weird buzz/grind noise down by the pedal when you start it for the first time. (assume thats ABS test noise or something?)
nothing after the truck is off though |

Depending on what the noise is, it may be normal, and it may not be. My vehicle can be parked for hours, and if I pop the hood, I can hear a very faint noise like nose coming from my ABS modulator which I would describe as an electronic representation of a stopwatch.
Mine has made this noise for years, and others have posted about it as being normal. Mine once sat for a week in an airport parking lot (I assume making the noise the entire time), and had no hesitations starting after I had returned. |

Noise is normal but isn't always there

Seeing this is from 7 years ago I don't even remember what issue I was having. With the ground bypass everything works great. Every now and then the brakes will get a good squeak with a rough road code (1590 or w/e it is) .

Mine does this as well. Car is off, no key in switch, and the ABS module makes a repetitive buzz that can only be heard if you put your ear close to it. Common sense says this is drawing power from the battery, but who knows how much?
