Your a/c drain plugs are clogged. Crawl underneath, and look up on either side of the bell housing for the drain nipples. The passenger side drips towards the end of the front drive shaft to give you a general idea where to look.

it has been raining. but nobody has sat on the passenger side.

i put some floormats in the rig this past weekend, and it was damp and wet under the mat. not on top of it. so i know its not a drip from above like the sunroof.

i mean its not a serious amount of water but its enough to want to know why. so tonight before i drop it off at the driveline shop i will try and find the AC drain and fiddle with that. what am i looking to do with it? stick a thin wire or something in it to unclog it?

its just kinda damp on the underside of the rubber mat? mine did that too... so one day i took the mats out and left the doors open for a few hours to give the carpet time to dry out really good... i think it is just moisture buildup and with rubber mats it can't just evaporate like it normally would... especially if its been raining and really humid...

Have you been using your AC in the last week, it not it is most likely going to be either a front w/s leak or the front sun roof.

Even when the carpet is dry, the foam underneath (which is over an inch thick) still retains a few gallons of water in the foot well. You have to pull the carpet to really know if it's dry. To get under the carpet, remove the plastic insert in the metal carpet retainer. Remove the screws underneath and pull the retainer out. I used a marine fan that's about 6" in diameter and just stuck it under the carpet and clipped it to the sliders.

there is enough water under the rubber mat that you can press your palm firmly into the carpet and your hand come up wet.

BUT, there is no similar issue on the driver side. only the passenger side. the headliner is dry and see no sign of issue up there. so that leaves the windsheild seal. but i have not detected any dampness from higher up in the footwell or lower dash area.

i have not used the ac, but have used the defroster often since purchase.

it has been rainy and humid this week, but im just not certain as i am still learning these rigs.

when you use the ac when it humid, thats when the rubber mats get soaked undernealth. but i sounds like his is a drange problem.
