well my land rover is a real land rover now,,,

was crawling over some good size rocks on a trail today,,,tires were muddy and rocks wet. was half way over and slid off to the passenger side and mashed up my passenger side door a bit against a stump,,,

its not awful, but its kinda pretty in its own way =)

also made my diffs less "new" looking. a couple small dents and scraps in them.

today i wish i had 2 more inches of clearance and rock rails. oh and diff covers,,,

Nothing, Rovers are supposed to have "battle scars"

nothing. gonna leave it. looks like a door that belongs to a guy who uses his land rover in a proper manner =)

the black plastic rocker panel is broke in half so that i will replace,,, or just wait till i make my rock rails. gonna upload some pics from today.

IF i decide to do something about the door i will just buy a salvaged door and swap it out.

also gonna make some mounts to bolt to the front of the fenders and hood and at the top of the roof rails with steel cable running between them to deflect branches. had some large brush smacking my windshield that i could have done without

simmer down,,, its coming. i am drying off my dog. once we were off the trails i stopped at the river and let him run and chase salmon

Urban Panzer has a nice write up on how to make your own limb risers.
No drilling of holes is needed.

i made a set up for my 79 K5 blazer back when i was 18. pretty simple stuff and makes a world of difference if you hit some tree overhang.

need to get measurements from someone with rock rails so i can make some.
