Those are still smaller than 265/65r18s which I ran at sock height with no rubbing. They'll work perfectly.

Wish I could track down another Disco owner in my neck of the woods that likes rolling the back country. I turned around when I got to an area that I didn't feel comfortable trying without a spotter/recovery rig (50 point turn for the win)
Did some maintenance on the disco today. Got some Gunk Multi-Surface cleaner and hit pretty much every greasy, oily surface under the car. It was surprisingly effective! I just got this disco recently so it's good to set a base line for how everything looks going forward. Now I'm pretty sure my rear main seal is leaking, there's drops of oil coming down between the engine and tranny bell housing. That'll be a fun job...
After cleaning up the underside, I changed the tranny fluid and filter. The ATF was surprisingly clean, so it probably didn't need to be changed but I'm glad I did it anyway. Went with Valvoline Max Life.
And I got started on flushing my coolant. The car has been running on the hot side (gets up to ~210) and I'm pretty sure there was air in the system and it wasn't totally full. Had the 'waterfall' sound sometimes. Decided to go with Zerex G-05. Also replaced the thermostat with the 180 version from lucky 8.

Haha, no kids to speak of yet. Just coming up on 22, myself; still a bit of a kid.
Not hearing much on it yet unless someone is pretty close. Gonna swap out this cheapy antenna for a Firestik and I need to ground the mount better. I'm honestly not sure yet if its grounded at all...
Alex, I think that's the oldest part on your disco now.
You can pick up a cheap SWR meter on amazon to tune and test.
There are NGP firestik antennas (no ground plane), but honestly the best way to do it I found (after tons of research), is to get a standard 3/4" NMO mount with a Larsen whip antenna (https://www.dxengineering.com/parts/lsn-nmo27b)
The firestik was too thick and rigid, no way it could have survived in the bush.
Drill the roof, and you'll have the best ground plane possible. Anywhere else is second class. Since I have a roof rack, I opted to get a z-bracket and attach it to the side of the rack. There's a picture on here somewhere.
And if you ever want to change to HAM or another type of radio, the NMO mount is pretty universal, just swap in a new antenna.
