Thanks man, I really appreciate that.
Fortunately, it's not hard work, just time I don't have.
And frustration with new failed part(s) and dumbasses at a machine shop doing pathetic "work".
I'll get it eventually.

Default Roll bar action

Swapped links and bushings in the rear.

One question I cant seem to find an answer too. In the area circled red, the bolt is free spinning. On the upper link there is I believe a18mm end I can hold in place with another wrench to tighten the nut but the lower does not have one. I am afraid to grip with channel locks or pry with concern in ripping boot.

How to I tighten the lower link to appropriate torque?

same dude, I’d gladly offer my tool holding b*tch skills at your aid haha. Yours and others probs with their rovers seem like rocket science compared to me complaining about a free spinning bolt and nut 😂

If there's enough room(gonna be close if there is)
you can put 2 nuts on the end of the threads and "jam" them together(tighten against each other), then you can hold one with a wrench, and tighten the original nut.
Maybe you'll get lucky and have enough thread, or see if you can find some thin nuts that thread size.
Good luck with it.

If the double nut doesn't work, find a way to pry the ball joint in a way that it keeps the stud from spinning while you tighten the nut. Maybe a pipe wrench or something on the sway-bar link; try different directions of force until you can get some torque on the nut.

great input, thank you. Def enough thread. Need a deep socket to reach first one.

yup that’s what I’ve been trying but need quite a bit of force (awkward tight sideways positioning). Going to try pad the outside somehow and use a long bar to press against the outside against the bracket. If not, double nut it is. Thanks.

Is there a torque bit or allen head fitting in the end of that stud? So you can hold it and tighten the nut.
