What did you do with your DII today?

Kinda like the DI side, but include what you did to it AND with it.

Yesterday - PULLED Tree out of pool that hurricanr put there.

Tonight - Changed transmission fluid and filter in my 03 also changed power steering fluid.

Tomorrow - Front U joints and center ball

Tip: autozone doesn't carry filter for 03 dii but ask about a say 98 D1 and they'll have it, exact same part.

To be honest, I haven't done anything than normal maintenance for awhile! It's a solid work horse!

Haven't moved mine on over week since I broke a motor mount and the fan exploded. (The fan took out the radiator, upper shroud, coolant return line, air box, and parts of the fan tried to punch up through the hood.). Then the shaft on the PAS pump decided to walk out about 4mm and shreaded the belt, so...

...in the last week I've done the following:
- Replace the radiator, fan, fan clutch, cooling return hose.
- Flushed and bled the cooling system.
- Replaced 2 motor mounts.
- Made a custom, 5-rib belt to get the truck home when it tried to slice 2 ribs off the existing belt. (All I did was trim the rest of the 2 ribs off, but I did it on the side of the road in the middle of the night!)
- Pulled and replaced the PAS pump with a brand new one.

Today,
- I'm re-bleeding the cooling system (temps just weren't stable enough for my liking before the fiasco with the PAS).
- Bleeding the PAS pump.
- Maybe (time permitting) replacing the rear drive shaft with a u-joint rear drive shaft. (I'm just tired of wasting $$$ on rotoflex couplers.)

It wasn't good, but I have backup Rovers, so I can usually find one to drive.:D I hate to think what it would have cost to repair all the damage if i was paying someone else. (Even with the new radiator, I only have about $375 in parts into the repairs + my time. This doesn't count the new PAS pump though...that was another $300...)

Damn Dave that sucks.

Spencer, good luck with that title!

I finally had to change my throttle body heater plate and gasket.

Watched it sit outside work as I drove my new motorcycle :)

Gave my truck a wash and detail. Going to do it again pretty soon. Just wanted to get it clean and get some wax on it since it has been sitting so long. The roof rack looks a lot better with the lights painted black, still looking to get a lower profile for them though.

Thanks.

Forgot one other thing on the list today. I have to drop the tank skid and run it down to a local fab shop to add a 45* bend to better cover the back of by tank. After adding my new bumpers it's a little exposed, and I don't want the skid to act like a shovel if I have to reverse over something...
