What did you do with your DII today?

I drove my D2 to get a Mushroom and Swiss burger at Burgers, Cheeseburgers & Fast Casual Dining Restaurants | Smashburger
All of 3 miles each way.
The burger was very good.
Did not need to fix it - cause it is not broken (yet).

Well, actually it was 3 days ago but I took off my roof rack to make some modifications. I took the time to wash and paste wax the roof as it is almost impossible to do with the roof rack in place. I added some strips of treated lumber decking to the metal supports as it was dangerous to climb up and get good footing. I reinstalled the rack and also modified it to accept my Yakima Kayak mounts. It looks like quite the sport activity vehicle with the kayak mounts and my bike rack attached to the spare tire.

Actually used this, the 3M headlight restoration kit. Saw it setting on the shelf and had nothing better to do today. It requires a power drill, you begin with 500 grit, then 800 grit, a buffer pad that's 3000 grit I think, then compound it out.
