What do you do for tires

For those of you that have off-road tires or all terrain etc do you drive on them all year ? Or only when going off-road ?

I have all terrains as well they suck in snow
I’m thinking for the maybe once or twice I go off-roading I should be wearing my all season tires that are buried in the shed
plus probably save some mpgs as well

i run ATs all year round on my '04 and they do fine in the snow. though, St. Louis MO snow is probably a little different than any part of Canada snow.

that aside, my ATs do better than the all seasons on my daughter's '04 in the snow, slush and ice.

I have been using Cooper AT3s for a couple of years, all year. They don't handle rain really well, but otherwise good overall for me, very happy. Mostly commuting, and weekend med off-road. And I'm in TN so I don't have any real snow experience but they did fine for the 1-2 days we went out to play.

I run Grabber X3s and love them. My D2 isn't a daily but still got about 15k miles in the last year on them. They are wearing well and are unstoppable in fresh snow/mud/rocks, I do think they are worse than my K02s were in packed snow/icy road conditions. The K02s were amazing in normal winter road conditions imo. The X3s if off road in packed snow or ice are great and grab nicely if you start to slip so long as you don't get on the skinny pedal too bad.

When it comes to tires that is one area that I don't look to compromise or cut corners. Ideally I'd have a set of K02s for winter/snowboard trips or maybe the wildpeak at3 and then the x3s for the rest of the year or dedicated wheeling trips.

My ATs did fine in snow Goodyear Ultra-Terrain AT.

Run my Coopers ST Maxx all year

I enjoyed my set of K02s on the road and winter conditions but had a sidewall blow out on one headed home from a day of wheeling and at least one of the other ones has a compromised sidewall as well that sitting in my garage. I've wheeled the X3s harder and longer with zero issues vs 2 confirmed sidewall failures in the K02s..
