Wondering what kind of grease you all use. It should a) be compatible with whatever Land Rover dealers use, and b) work well!

I would like to set to and grease everything greasable as part of the 75K service.

Doing it on schedule is more important than what grease you use. The only factory zerks are on the prophafts and should be greased every 5,000 miles or every oil change, whichever comes first.
That said, I use Castrol Pyroplex Blue NLGI #2 because it's formulated for wet environments. Plus, I figure if it's good enough for heavy equipment that is a company's livelihood, it's good enough for me. Same reason I use Wix or Baldwin filters.

I like Green Grease because it doesn't liquefy in the grease gun and drip out between uses.

Thinking about it, most of the old grease will get forced out when you inject the new grease, so compatibility is not such an issue.

Most of the old grease is supposed to be forced you. You want to grease the u-joints until you see new grease coming from around all 4 seals.

and that is why i smell burning grease all the time. no matter what i do, i cannot get enough of the stuff of to prevent it from slinging all over the underside and pipes. ill just chalk it up to self undercoating. i use some delvac grease, its in a blue drum. its also free and at my previous job that i visit once every couple of weeks to check the drivetrain fluids and regrease that stupid driveshaft.

I think that's the reason British cars leak oil too, self undercoating.

Grease is like oil mostly personnel preference. I use Lucas red grease, it's easy to spot the fresh grease coming out at the caps because of the color.

Well it looks like that's what's already in my grease gun, so I'll go with the red stuff!
