So, here is mine from my 99 D2 with apx. 130,000 miles.
My routine has been to always power scrub my truck, top and bottom after every trail with cold water and in the last 14 years I bet less then one can of Gunk engine has been used on the engine except when I had my p/s leak. |

Hey Mike, when you say 'power scrub' what does this actually mean? High pressure wash? |
Mine doesn't go towards the contest, just something to shoot for.
My version of power washing is going to a local do it your self car wash and using the cold wash feature. |
Yeah I'm definitely not going to win this...
|
So, mine isn't in the contest, just an example, come on gues what do you have to loose.
|
I'd do it,but I have a d1

Guys...just post a picture of the engine bay...we need to change the title to "The Official Discovery II engine bay picture thread" This way no one is discouraged, and we see all the different motors and stickers and character!

Ooh - I better take a picture quick...since the dealership did their tricks to try to convince the world that my Rover was THE one in the word that doesn't leak oil....didn't work on me, of course, but the engine bay does look good...at least for now....
