Default window switch drama.

I did a search and located a few different anwsers, maybe you guys can tell me the solution that works most often. Heres my situation. I have a 98 Disco I LSE, the rear windows will not go down or up with either the center console switches or the rear door switches. My heated seats buttons do work along with the front window switches in the console. Does this sound like it would be the sodder connections in the window ecm under the glove box?

that's what I was going to say. YOu could pull your switches and clean them first, just to try. I think there is a good write up on this on discoweb.org under the tech tab...

You hit it right, it is the body ECU, most likely a cracked circuit board or a bad solder, both of which can be fix or you can go buy a good guaranteed used one from,
