Trashed rear seats

2 Attachment(s)
Hello all,

I have a 2 year old DS and have managed to trash the rear seats as the car has had 3 car seats fitted since I bought it. I really regret not protecting the seats (I have now) but what's done is done.

I'm planning to sell the car and wondered if anyone can suggest a quick fix to the problem. Photos attached and help/advice much appreciated!

Fergus

Sorry, first post and I can't figure out how to rotate the photos.

Leather conditioner and time for the foam to rebound. Most likely you will see the spots where the leather was stressed permanently

Thanks! Can you recommend a brand of leather conditioner?

No amount of leather conditioner, rejuvenator, etc... Will remove the dimples caused by car seats
Take it to a upholstery shop, they can heat up the leather and shrink the dimples. It is cheap and quick. I say this with confidence based on experience.

Interesting project.

I would suggest you download the workshop manual. You didn't tell us what year but judging from the pictures it's in the 2010-2012 range.

You can download the workshop manual for it from here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0By...1RzTVZTRGYwSmc

This website is centered in the UK and mostly has those from the EU on it. But there are some from the USA. I don't know if that manual is different for USA spec cars.

Good luck!
Larry.
