Picture uploader not working
So I am trying to put pictures in my post, but the picture uploader will not work. I have tried drag and drop, insert from my computer, as well the url, nothing works. The drag and drop and insert methods go to 99%, then revert to the original pop up window with no pictures uploaded.
Is it me, or does the picture uploader not work? |
what device are you using?

Have tried multiple pc's, can send screen capture video if it helps

Any way to troubleshoot the problem? I can tell other people are able to post photos....

Can you add photos to your profile gallery?

My pics are uploading but once inserted half are missing. Ive tried uploading from Android and from my PC. Tried Chrome and Firefox. The uploader is rubbish. Forum needs some maintenance.

Yup still happening with me. Ill upload pics and they will show up in my post for afew days then sometime thereafter the pics disappear from the post. However when I go in and edit the post the links are still present. The forum is going downhill maintenance wise. To make matters worse Chrome for android is experiencing issues whenever users try uploading pics to most websites. Once your on the file selector screen a pop up comes up saying "Unfortunately Chrome has Stopped Working".

It only works when I use the full site view on my iPhone iOS 11.4.1. . Until the Mods correct it, try using the option “full site view” instead of “mobile view” and then try to upload load a picture. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/landrov...54b8ac3074.png |
So I must be on the full site, as it is behaving like a “regular” computer, but how do I switch? |

What is the size of the photo you are trying to upload?

A couple, maybe 4 meg at most? But the [IMG] isn’t working either. |
To clarify, are you using this button below to upload photos? Or the "manage attachment" button?

I thought I had responded- sorry about that. Here is what happens if I try to do the “traditional” method of linking pictures from other locations: [IMG]https://photos.smugmug.com/Cars/Skyl...MG_3312-X2.jpg Now when I tryped that in, I did it with the “[ / I MG ]” but it doesnt show when I hit “post”. Check that, it did show when I hit post, but then when I edit, it is not there... And now I just edited again, and the closing statement is gone... If I try to upload a picture from a location to the thread, it will go through the process of uploading and all is well. When I save and then post, nada. That is via the “Advanced” hot link and the manage attachments method. There are some other quirks with the code as well here and there, but nothing worth getting riled up about. Again, this is on an iPad running iOS 11. |
Sorry you are experiencing these issues. I would suggest clicking the picture uploader icon to upload pictures (that I attached a screenshot above for) and seeing how that works. When you uploaded using the [IMG] method, it shows the image as a link.
