Locked Out of Disco II
 

This is my first post so I apologize if I'm doing this incorrectly. Last night the wife managed to lock her keys in the Rover. I searched this forum and google high and low and couldn't find a solution that would work. So I thought Id share in case it helps another:

2004 Discovery II SE7
Tools: 2 air pump wedges, regular wedge, slim jim, long arm tool

1) Passenger side door: carefully use regular wedge at the top, rear corner of window to insert slim jim.
2) Once slim jim is in place, use it to help shimmy 1st air bag in between door and frame. It takes some working but be patient.
3) inflate air bag partially enough to fit in 2 second air bag about 3 inches below upper air bag. Inflate 2nd air bag partially
4) inflate both air bags just enough to insert long arm tool between the two air bags into cab of car.
5) use good aim and hit unlock button up on center dash to unlock the doors

Hope this helps someone out in the future rather than the youtube video using a rock.
