What tires?

I have a 2002 Freelander S with stock 16 inch rims. What size tires can I get? I have 215/65/16 now. Looking for some bigger tires that will fit on the stock rims and not rub in the wheel well. Also looking for the best tires for year round. We get substantial snow so I need tires that work well in the snow.

Not much into the freelanders, but hope this helps...

225-75/16 will fit. Depending on the brand and model of the tyre, it may rub under heavy loads while turning etc. The Dunlop Radial Rover RV will not, some of the BFG's do ok- and the Firestone Destinations will rip the plastic out from under your wheel wells.
Throw a DAP lift on it and it'll never rub. If you want more of a street tyre, look into the 225/70-16. There aren't any "off-road" tyres in that size, but some decent AT's.

i have looked at getting some BFGoodriches for my freelander, only thing is mine has the 18" wheels, so I'd have to get new wheels too, or a lift from DAP
