03RR - dashboard speaker removal
 

I believe the tweeter is blown in my dash speaker.

Anyone ever remove this? There's a series of star bolts on the dash. Is it as simple as removing these to lift the dash off to access the speaker?

Any help/assistance would be appreciated.

well, removing those bolts wont let you pull of the upper dash at all, there are also screws under the wood pieces on either side... that said, its even easier... the speaker grille pops right off, lift from the side closest to the windshield, there are some t20 torx screws that hold in the speaker... dont let the wire drop after disconnected, you can lose it and have to take off the upper dash
