2002 HSE shaky floor board upon acceleration
Hello everyone!
I was test driving this RR and upon the return trip back to the owners house I noticed that the upon acceleration the driver's side floor board was vibrating/shaking and the rpms remained at 2000. Has anyone have a clue to what is causing such a symptom? |
Uhh.. walk away lol. Either the engine needs to be rebalanced which is kinda a pain but not too big of an issue. However, it could also be the torque converter in the transmission bell housing.

Thank you LRScott. I will walk away from that shakin' RR and continue my search for my 02 fully loaded. There has to be a RR 02 that has been taken care of out there. My friends are trying to persuade me to purchase something new, but I just can't see putting all that money down. I think chosing the 02 with 90k miles on it means that all the problems have been addressed and I'm ready for the second set/round of problems. lol Isn't true that many of the problems should have been resolved? I'm hoping praying for one to have been converted to coils/springs/shocks,one with a new head gasket, torque converter in good shape etc. What do you think the chances are? lol
