2003-2005 Range Rover?

I am thinking about buying a Range Rover. The year range I am looking at is between 2003-2005. What should I be on the lookout for as far and issues/possible problems? I am coming from a D1 discovery so I am use to a laundry list to look out for. Also, what is the short code for this body style? I saw P38 listed somewhere. Is this correct or is this for the previous body style?
Thanks,
Jason

The 03 to 05 styles are called the "L322" (MarkIII) and the 95 to 02 styles are called "P38" (MarkII). For a L322, a good history is paramount. The main things are that it's airbags for the suspension are in good shape and that the differential recall has been done on them. The most important thing for any Rover, especially an L322, is the vehicles history and overall condition. They are very quirky electronically but very solid mechanically. Some of them can have head gasket problems, but that is less common than on the Rover V8 which is in your Discovery.
