I am finalizing my research on these warranties and exclusionary is the way to go. I will probably go with AAautoWaranty.com Prepare to spend about 3 to 4 grand for a 2003 RR like ours

Have you spoken to your Rover dealer to get a quote from them?
If you go aftermarket, take the info by your shop or deale first and make sure they will honor the policy, they are no good if you can't get a shop to honor them. Nothing worse then have to pay for the repairs and hope you will get reinbursed later by some aftermarket co.

I was looking into AAautowarranty too.

Here's my "Exclusionary" plan on an 03 RR with 36K miles.

Plan : Warranty America Bumper-To-Bumper
Term : 48 Month(s) or 75000 miles on odometer
Standard Deductible: $100

Wear and Tear Coverage
Emission Coverage

GPS / DVD Coverage

Discount Amount : $-100
Total Cost : $3,448.00

Additional options available with this plan you might be interested in:

$0 Deductible : $200
$50 Deductible : $75

I called and asked the underwriter if they covered the full $125/hr at our local Land Rover. They said yes. Looks OK but there are some details in the fine print of the contract that scare me....

1)GPS/DVD Package – Component replacements are limited to one occurrence. My GPS is part of the integrated computer that controls everything on my car. I’m not going to pay $3500 for a one time fix.
2)“Labor will be authorized based on a nationally recognized labor manual” - This is vague and I’d like to read that manual.
3)Normal lubricant seepage is not covered? I thought normal lubricant seepage was NO seepage. Also “Normal” in this context is a very vague word.

Let me know what you guys think. Should I do it or not?
