So I took out fuse 11 it worked tranny shifts all gears what would fuse 11 be used for it shows it to be blank on the fuse cover I just plugged one in cause it was empty I played around with the mirror button and got both sides to adjust but driver side mirror goes brown in reverse and up in drive

I really appreciate your time Peter thank you

Ya. Only put this fuse in when the vehicle will be towed. Do you want to turn off the mirror reverse feature? Press an hold the memory button until the dash says "mirror dip off". The cluster will also make an audible beep

Thanks Peter

So I did the mirror thing set the mirrors where I want them help the driver side seat program 2 seconds and all is good I hope I can bother you for a couple other things 1- I keep blowing fuse 9 and 2- the abs light never goes out 3- I have a low wash alert but it's full 4- at what time do elect fans kick in so much for a couple of questions I just bought the car a couple months ago just trying to get it road worthy

BritishautoworksSD 03-29-2016 12:45 PM

1.) Fuse #9 at the interior fuse box is related to the Front Doors. Does the door locks work correctly with the remote?

2.) ABS light- you need the vehicle scanned with a diagnostic tool. You have three light, but all should go out after reaching 10mph

3.) Low windshield wash message when full sounds like a faulty sensor. Put a jumper in the connector at the sensor. Message will go away and won't damage anything.

4.) Electric fans? You mean the HVAC Blower motors?

Haliimaile 03-29-2016 01:24 PM

Well the buttons are taped up so I have never tryied the lock buttons I scanned says no coda detected looks like there is 3 or 4 plug ins at the bottom of the washer bottle which one would it be ? And there are 2 elect fans just behind the grill haven't seen them turn on yet

BritishautoworksSD 03-29-2016 01:37 PM

Please help me help you by using numbers to match your questions.

4.)Those fans are for the condenser which is part of your air conditioning system. Just because they don't come on, doesn't mean you have a problem. If your A/C is working, they the fans will come on and off at different times related to the system pressure.

1.) Let me know if your remote is working and the door locks too.

2.) You scanned your Rover with T4 or Autologic? Which scanner? Did you drive over 10mph? Did all the lights go out after 10 mph?

3.) The washer bottle has three motors on the front of the bottom and a sensor on the rear of the bottle. Don't disconnect the motors. Disconnect the sensor

Check your shift linkage

I did the same thing....trans would work fine sometimes, but would often slip, or so I thought. Worried about the whole "relearning thing" for a long time, until saw someone who said the shift linkage could cause that symptom. $30 kit and 20 minutes later, stays in gear, and shifts great. Take a look at that shift linkage,
here is a youtube clip.....
