code 1170 need help pls

I'm new to this forum. My girl bought a 04 range rover hse with 48000 miles. 4 months ago and now the service engine soon is on.
I went to my friend shop to scan it and is the p1170 code. Anyone knows about this code n what do u guys think could be the
